Property Transmissions

Often where a deceased estate includes real property, it will be necessary for the property to be ‘transmitted’ to either an authorised person for sale, or otherwise to a beneficiary.  Whilst some estate administration procedures are easier than others, property transmissions can be technically complex, and may be time sensitive where the property is to be sold.

Ashton Estate Lawyers can assist you in navigating through the property transmission process whilst avoiding delays, whether it be:

  • Lodgement and registration of a Record of Death (to remove a deceased joint tenant owner of property);

  • Lodgement and registration of a Transmission to Personal Representative (transmitting real property title to executor or administrator, whether or not a grant of Probate or Letters of Administration has been obtained);

  • Lodgement and registration of a Transmission to Beneficiary (transmitting property title directly from deceased person to those persons beneficially entitled to property from the estate).

Contact us today for a free 15-minute telephone conversation regarding your circumstances and requirements, and we would be happy to assist you and outline our fixed fee property transmission services.
